The President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier on Sunday evening arrived in Ghana for a three-day state visit.<\/p>\n

He was met on arrival at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and the German Ambassador to Ghana Frederik Landsh\u00f6ft.<\/p>\n

President Steinmeier, accompanied by a high-level delegation is scheduled to hold high-level meetings with President John Mahama on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the Presidency in Accra.<\/p>\n

The official programme will commence on Monday with President Steinmeier\u2019s inspection of a full military Guard of Honour at the Forecourt of the Presidency.<\/p>\n

President Steinmeier and his host, President Mahama, will hold a closed-door meeting before joining their respective delegations for bilateral talks in the Credentials Room.<\/p>\n

The discussions are expected to focus on strengthening Ghana-Germany relations, particularly in areas of trade, investment, technology, and development cooperation.<\/p>\n

A State Luncheon will be held in honour of President Steinmeier and his delegation at the Presidential Banquet Hall in the afternoon.<\/p>\n

President Steinmeier will travel to Kumasi on Tuesday, November 4, where he is scheduled to meet the Asantehene, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II.<\/p>\n

He is also scheduled to join other activities before his departure on Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
