Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr has been announced as one of the performers at the 2025 edition of the Tidal Rave Festival, set to take place in Accra, Ghana.<\/p>\n

This marks the first time a major non-Ghanaian artiste will perform at the festival, signalling what organisers, EchoHouse, describe as a complete reinvention for the \u201cWild Card\u201d edition.<\/p>\n

The \u201cHot Body\u201d hitmaker joins a strong lineup of Ghanaian stars, including Black Sherif, Moliy and Gyakie.<\/p>\n

A wild weekend ahead<\/strong><\/p>\n

Celebrating its 13th year, the festival is expanding from a one-day rave into a two-day cultural experience aimed at redefining the beach festival scene. The event will be held on 14 and 15 November at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra.<\/p>\n

The excitement begins on Friday, 14 November, with an invite-only pre-party powered by Johnnie Walker. The main event follows on Saturday, 15 November, featuring a full day of music, fashion, food, culture, and performances by top DJs, MCs and artists, with Ayra Starr as one of the main acts.<\/p>\n

Culture currents take the lead<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tidal Rave Festival has evolved into a major African youth cultural movement, going beyond the definition of a concert. This year introduces \u201cCulture Currents\u201d, a specially selected team of creatives shaping the festival experience from within.<\/p>\n

\u201cOver the years, Tidal Rave has been known for delivering the ultimate rave experience. But this year, for the first time ever, the spotlight shifts to the Culture Currents, a carefully selected team of top industry specialists,\u201d said Awo Ampadu Somuah, Event Director of Tidal Rave Festival.<\/p>\n

The team includes Lisa Quama, Ato Sekyi, Rev Erskine, Samuella Graham, Ellen Osabutey, Makafui Awuku (McKingtorch Africa), Kojo Junior and Joewackle. Together, they bring diverse perspectives to fashion, food, culture, dance, storytelling and environmental sustainability to deliver a festival that goes far beyond music.<\/p>\n

An experience beyond the stage<\/strong><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s edition will transform the beach into a playground of experiences. Ravers can explore the Afro Exchange by Johnnie Walker, enjoy the Red Alert Experience by Absa Ghana, feel the rush at the Energy Zones by Red Bull, and celebrate culture through the Black Star Experience, an initiative of the Office of the President of Ghana.<\/p>\n

Festival-goers will also get the chance to win big in \u201cThe Luckiest Raffle\u201d, where organisers promise surprises as wild as the experience itself.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
